As I mentioned last Thursday at our weekly meeting, the Fugees camp,that our Club sponsored through a matching grant with three other international Rotary Clubs, and which was our major literacy project this past Rotary year, is now taking place at Agnes Scott in Decatur.

 

The last day of camp is Thursday July 29th , and they are inviting us to come and see the work they did during the camp at 6:30 pm. Please let me know if you can make it.

 

Since that day we can not see the camp in progress, I spoke with Tracy and she said that we can come anyday of the week before Thursday to take a look and take photos to document the project. So I like to gather a group and go there on Tuesday July 27th at 11:00 am. Please let me know if you can make it.

 

Board meeting will be held this Wednesday at 5:30 pm at Lee Jordan's office, all are welcome to attend.

(Board members, please make sure you get me a copy of your acceptance letter if you have not done so yet.)

 

Finally, please make sure you are present for our meeting on August 19, since this will be DG Casey Farmer's official visit. The board will meet at 11:00am . We are expected to have 100% of our Club members attending.
